Mail Server Downtime
posted by:
Colin @ 9:25 AM | October 16, 2007
As of 4:00pm central time, the mail server has been returned to operational status. It may take several hours for e-mail that has been delayed in the system to be delivered, so please be patient when waiting for messages.
We do again apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Old Webmail Server Information
posted by:
Colin @ 12:46 PM | October 2, 2007
We now have web-based access to the old mail server configured and available for use, so that customers can retrieve any e-mail stored there before it is taken offline. Please use the following link to access the old webmail page:
http://webmail2.todays-tech.com
Please carefully read the instructions on the login page, as you need to follow them in order to properly access your account on that server. We will post another update once the old server is going to be taken offline, which we do not expect to do for the next week. After it is taken offline, all information on it will not be retrievable, so please download any messages you need off the old server as soon as possible.
E-Mail Services Update

As of late yesterday evening, we have once again brought the new mail server back online, and it is now processing mail for all customers. No changes are needed on your computer in order to access the new server, as all information was duplicated from the old server. However, if you are having difficulty logging into your account either via webmail, or an e-mail client such as Outlook Express, please give our support department a call, so we can look into your account.
As before, this upgrade will be bringing significantly better spam filtering for all accounts, as well as adding on incoming and outgoing virus scanning on all e-mail.
The old mail server is still online, and will remain so to allow customers to retrieve any e-mail still remaining on it, before it is pulled out of service. We will post instructions on how to access the old server via your web browser later this afternoon, once configuration is completed. Optionally, you can retrieve e-mail from the old mail server via a standard e-mail cilent, such as Outlook Express, by creating a new mail account. Just enter all of your existing information as prompted to create the account, but when entering the incoming and outgoing mail server names, please use the following;
Incoming Mail Server: mail2.todays-tech.com
Outgoing Mail Server: mail2.todays-tech.com
For any other issues, please feel free to contact us via telephone for assistance.
